United Way of the Coastal Empire places great emphasis on upholding the highest standards of excellence and accountability. To ensure this, United Way’s Finance Committee regularly reviews the organization’s financial position and management practices on behalf of the Board of Directors. In addition, United Way consistently receives a clean, unqualified audit opinion on an annual basis.
The Herschel V. Jenkins Trust and other income cover most of the operating expenses of the organization, allowing more of your dollars to go where they’re most needed in service to the community.
